Zarchin Geography
As you will see, one big city is that of Bobruysk. Zarchins hail from OSIPOVICHI, STARYYE DAROGI and SLUSK, which are cities outside Bobruysk. There are Zarchins from ODESSA, ZOLOTONOSHA, BORISOV, ZEMBIN. and RIGA, LATVIA. Mogilev is apparently the beginning, according to an oral history translated by Joseph Zarchin and Haim Beinart.

OSIPOVICHI
A tiny shtetl 30 miles outside of Bobruysk where my family worked for the rail. This is the branch of Yehuda Zarchin, father of Abraham Meir Zarchin.
STARYYE DAROGI
This is the branch of Herschel Zarchin who was the father of Max (Jakov Mendel) Zarchin. His papers say he was of Kieff (sic).
This is also the branch of Israel (Issar?) Zarchin
who is the father of Louis Zarchan.
GLUSK
On the shipping manifest, Max (Jakov Mendel) Zarchin claims this as his home, too!Michel Zarchin, who was the brother of Herschel Zarchin (see above refernce) also claims to be from Luba.
