Charles Alexander Zorn is an Adjunct Instructor of Psychology at Borough of Manhattan Community College and has taught Child, Developmental and General Psychology there for 7 years. He is a Doctoral Candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University in an interdisciplinary study towards a Ed.D in Developmental Psychology and Education, and Cultural Studies and Media.

Prof. Zorn was originally trained as a Neuropsychoeducational evaluator at Teachers College, and is a practicing developmental specialist and a child and family education advocate dealing with language and learning issues. Working on the cutting edge of interactive media production since the mid-90's, often involving high technology, his education projects applied such techniques as immersive virtual reality to teach medical doctors and Quicktime panoramic tours of museums. He co-founded such diverse companies as the first New York convention based day-care, Convention Kids, Inc. and the new media company, Televerse, Inc, which produced among other immersive projects, the first "streamed" weekly, internet "web-opera," The @ Cafe.

He has described much of his work as amplified affective experiences, brewed with positive collaboration. Currently he is working on projects involving poetry, musical expression, and his dissertation work involves his model of unstigmatized, non-competitive collaboration in education and the arts. These projects include a New York based science fiction series, "a few" new format talk shows and his long-standing Project CoLabX, which stands for Collaborative Expression Group.
