The Tar Baby Review

All week long the Southern Blacks taught us Northerners about the South. And to demonstrate their warnings, which had been unheeded before, they staged a TAR BABY REVUE, in case we didn't remember. See, as I see it, the Tar Baby never speaks. No matter how sullen or downcast the Tar Baby is, don't approach him. And worse, never sock him because you'll never free your hand. Anyway, the FROGS performed beautifully and everybody was allowed to attend, even the Whites.
