Lunacy

Anyway, we got all excited by the ex-slaves about catching the moon. They told us that the MOON comes every month and it teases the people of the swamp. See, what you do is try to unstick the MOON when it lands in the water. Some of us took a plank of wood about sixteen feet long and placed it over a rock - sort of a lever. Well, we tried and tried all night long and the MOON just wouldn't budge. But we all had a good time. We laughed and laughed abut our lunacy but as much as trying to lift the MOON out of the swamp was, the ALLIGATORS were planning some fun of their own.
