From Jerry Tooter
Jerry Tooter is the grandson of Samuel/Solomon Zarchin. I have been communicating with Jerry's daughter for about three years (?). She is my contemporary and therefore this puts her great-grandfather, Sam in the same generation as mine, Abraham Meyer.Jerry's photos may prove to be another key to our family. Our Bay Ridge cousins tell of a Shlomo Shmuelik. Records of Samuel and Solomon from the early part of this century coincide as if he were choosing his name in America. I will be meeting two women soon who asked me where their ancestor Solomon was in the family tree.
There is certainly that wonderful resemblence again. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
