ZARKHINS
***May 9, 1999, Mothers Day, was a breakthrough for this family name. At the Bobroisker Reunion in the Park, I reconnected with Leonid and somebody knew a Joseph Zarchin in Brooklyn. I thought maybe I missed one? How could that be? Well, these wonderful people gave Joseph my card and I spoke to his brother, Izya.***Last week, my family and I went to meet these Zarchins. They don't live far and that is a plus! Izya and Iosef are very lovely men. We traded photos and could not get over how in pic after pic, there was my zayda's and son, Andy's face! Not only that, but Iosef's daughter looks just like my cousin, Teri, except with blue eyes.
I went back to some of the photos on naturalization documents I have as well as the photo of Robert Jackson. After seeing the very large variety of people in Iosef's photos, I am pretty sure that we are kin to Robert Jackson's line, Harry and Phillip Zarchans' line, and Max Zarchin's line.
