For the years of roughly 1993 - 2005 it was compiled with Code Warrior and ran
under versions of Mac OS through OS 9, on G3, G4, G5 chips, and on the earlier PowerPC and 68K chips. Before that it was an MPW tool.
Input/output is via the Code Warrior utility called SIOUX, which does not work all that well in later
versions of Mac OS. This program produced the images seen at various places on the Fermat web site and in the Fermat manuals.

The compiled binaries and the manual can be found elsewhere on this website. See also the Fermat FAQ page.
The download contains the Code Warrior makefile, the four files of the Pascal source, and various support files.
The source is fairly well documented. If someone wants to develop this for a modern platform, I will give
them what help time allows. It should not be too hard to convert it to Delphi. In fact, the second archive
below contains the files that were produced by Bill Hastings of Fordham University towards the goal of porting FFermat to Windows.
Free Pascal compilers have also been developed for Mac OSX and can be easily found on the web. Please send me any source code
you produce.
