Epilogue of the War and Reconstruction

SECRETARY OF WAR STANTON took over after the assassination and we took over the SOUTH. Some RECONSTRUCTION. No forty acres and a mule could be had. As SHERMAN said, "CROWS would starve here." We couldn't find anything that wasn't burned, amputated, or gone. How could they plant food with everyone shot away? Well, there's HOPE as usual. The NORTH is sending some help. They're gong to send Tax Collectors, Rule Makers and Know-How Men that can join this country together. I don't know. I'm going West for some quiet times.
