I live in the East village of New York City and spend my time pursuing my geek interests, working for NovaWorks Computer Systems and projecting positive fandom to the Greenbay Packers. Tuesday nights I throw darts with the 1997 devision B2 Champions, team Elvis, out of The ST Bar. I grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin and also spent some time in Los Angeles. I've only been enjoying this internet thing since my friend Ian of bway.net started providing connections in '95. The web has been getting less interesting to me lately so I spend more time on Hotline and reading news. You may find me with the nick "SpudNYC" on random Hotline sites now and then .

I've been a Reverend in the Church for four years and have been preaching from this pulpit for about three years. My message is a straight forward one. "Get ready for the Aliens". The media is full swing into it's desenceitisation campaign to get us all used to the idea of space creatures livin' here. A couple more years and POW! The big coming out party.

My musical tastes have been described as "eclectic" and "fucked up". My favorite band is DEVO, but Negativeland, Snakefinger, Metallica, Johnny Cash, They Might Be Giants and... a whole bunch more run a very close second.

For the past nine years or so I've been an avid mountain biker. Living in NYC, however, has but the brakes on my riding quite a bit. The only place I could get to without a car was South Mountain Reservation in New Jersey, but, it was closed to mountain bikes last year so I must tag along with auto-capable friends when they head out to nice spots in Northern Jersey and NY. That doesn't happen to often anymore. If you live in NYC and are heading out to ride, drop me a line, I'd love to go.

I'd like to take a moment to express my grief over Telemundo's failure to air even re-runs of El Gran Juego de la Oca. This is by far the most entertaining gameshow that will ever be. My inability to speak spanish in no way diminished my viewing pleasure. I'm hoping that this show still lives in it's native Spain and that, somehow, it will air here again. If anyone has the theme song on tape or otherwise, please contact me 'bout a trade or somthin'. Also I'd give a lung to obtain the original board game the show is based on. If you've got info mail me please.

I'm a big fan of science-fiction film and television. Being in my late 20's, my sci-fi world is governed by Star Wars. I'm counting the minutes 'till the release of the next trilogy. Babylon 5 has fed my sci-fi hunger for four years now. I think it's the best TV available right now. It's been to long since we've had a serial style sci-fi show of it's ilk. I eagerly awaited Alien 4 because I wanted to get the bad tase of Alien 3 out of my system. A lot of folks feel that it sucked, but I think it was good enough. I was entertained throughout and didn't have to stretch my imagination to far. I'm upset that the film Star Gate was screwed up so badly. I think it could have been the best film of the decade if done right. It was a huge story that would have played out well in two or three films (see Star Wars), but, the damage has been done and now the film can't be done right.
