This is Danger's 1947 Indian

Caution a project like this should not be undertaken less you are a complete fool. This is most likely the most expencive and least efficient way of restoring a bike, The guy doing this is completly over his head and suffering mid life crisis. If that doesn't scare you read on!

This is how I started. Buying this frame over the intenet.

Doesn't look like much! but it cost a bit!

Update May My frame,triple tree, and shocks are completed as you can see in the picture. The carb was rebuilt and the engine is curently being balanced by AER automotive in NJ. I wll be using Moens seals and a King Cluch. The Oil pump has been rebuilt and tested.

Update June: well I went to Harmony and head a great time. (thanks for your help Bob) I found a BM case and a trannie, I still need to find a late tower for it. I found a chum-me-seat with the right chrome bar, Sent that out to Marietta Vintage Cycle. (will postseat before after pictures) My Carb came back from Mike Millay finished carb now it looks like something usuable! It should be Bonnivile-fied! Found a magnito and front fork and started to assemble all the parts for the front end.

New updates to July 2000 well you can see the seat is back from Marrietta a Police Generator , Regulator , and Bracket has been acquired. A frount fender is finished but not yet painted and mounted adn a rear wheel and fender is being fabricated. The oil pump has returned from John Blvens cad plated and tested. A horn has been located and I am waiting now 6 months to get ot back form the chrome shop (you knwo who you are). Have gotten the Bonni cams from Kiwi and followers from Manfred wait.

Licence Plates I wanted to get a 47 plate for my bike now I have ended up with a run from 36 to 50 if you have any to trade let me know. I need a 41 and a 51 lots of good duplicates to trade.

I think the next project will be to split this page to keep it current.
