Once in a great while, you're lucky to grab the kind of photo you'd never dream up on your own.

This silly dog was hanging around the dunes at Langstrand, which is in Namibia, while his owners brought us to the top for sandboarding and quadbiking. But knowing that kind of spoils it.

I adore this photo. It can mean so many things.
